Sassariente Ticino DOC

The grapes that this wine is made from come from selected vineyards on the right bank of the Ticino River at the foot of Mount Sassariente. It is produced by prolonged maceration for several days on the skins.Garnet red colour. On the nose it has hints of wild berries and spicy notes. On the palate it is a full-bodied wine, harmonious with solid tannins. Pairs well with roasts, game meat, red meat and cheese.

Blend of Galotta and other PiWi resistant red varieties.
These resistant varieties, as well as being resistant to the most common grape diseases (downy mildew and powdery mildew), they also boast high oenological quality. Galotta is a new variety created in Changins (Swiss enology School), a hybrid of Acellotta x Gamay.
Purple color; the aromas of this wine are naturally different from all others, as the varieties we use are not traditional. This wine features notes of fresh red berry fruit (raspberry, strawberry and cherry). Smooth, fresh, fine and elegant on the palate. Pairs with charcuterie and white meat dishes such as turkey, chicken or rabbit.

100% Merlot. The 2022 Tributo Merlot from Settemaggio is a heartfelt homage to the Marcionetti family, their loyal customers, Ticino’s iconic Merlot, and the region’s sun-drenched skies. Grapes undergo a 20-day maceration and fermentation before 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, imparting complexity and body while preserving the variety’s freshness and aromatic purity. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby color, with a nose of blackberries, currants, and subtle notes of coffee and chocolate. The palate is structured yet elegant, with soft, silky tannins, vibrant freshness, and a persistent, harmonious finish. Perfect with rich meats, roasts, or Ticino Alpine cheeses, it captures the essence of Ticino Merlot at its finest.
Cornalin des Pyramides AOC

100% Cornalin. A signature red of Valais, Cornalin is one of Switzerland’s oldest and most characterful varieties, dating back to the 14th century. The Cornalin Les Pyramides follws the same vinification process as its counterpart Syrah. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with the aim of obtaining a fruity wine that be drank immediately. The Cornalin Les Pyramides presents itself in a dark red colour. On the nose, it impresses with notes of ripe cherries and a hint of cloves. Fresh and fruity on the palate, it delights with its long finish. A wine of energy and heritage, Cornalin is pure Valais soul in the glass.
Humagne Rouge les Pyramides AOC

100% Humagne Rouge. Distinct from Humagne Blanc, Humagne Rouge is an ancient variety native to Valais, celebrated for its rustic character. Vinified the same way as Cornalin and Syrah to preserve the freshness and the full flavor of the fruits. The Humagne rouge presents itself in a dark garnet red colour. Elderberry jelly with a subtle hint of undergrowth can be recognised on the nose. With a fine tannin structure on the palate, it is a charming delight for lovers of fruity, berry wines.

100% Pinot Noir. Named for winemaker Diego Mathier, this flagship Pinot comes from the estate’s best parcels. Extended maceration and 18 months in French oak yield depth and complexity. Dark cherry, raspberry, spice, and forest floor unfold over a silky palate with fine tannins and great length. A Burgundian-style Pinot Noir with alpine clarity—serious, ageworthy, and commanding. The 2023 vintage promises to be another excellent year. The grapes were harvested on 29 September in perfect health and ideal ripeness. The colour is a deep dark ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is still discreet, with clearly present notes of ageing accompanied by cherries and wild strawberries, which will gradually harmonise with the finesse of the oak. There is beautiful tension on the palate for this vintage, which is full of freshness. The tannins are dense and firm, promising good ageing potential. With a long and delicious finish, this ambassador invites us to forget it in the cellar for a while to allow its charm to harmonise before accompanying your meals.

100% Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir has been cultivated in Valais since the Middle Ages, thriving in the dry alpine climate. The vines are grown on the sun-drenched terraces where heat radiates from the stones, pushing Pinot to ripeness. Fermented in stainless steel with gentle extraction, then partially aged in barrique, it reveals cherries, raspberries, and spice. Silky and vibrant on the palate, with fine tannins and elegance, this is Valais Pinot at its most refined.

100% Syrah. Syrah has thrived in Valais since the 1920s, producing some of Switzerland’s most acclaimed reds. Tempered first fermentation to promote the fruit flavours. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with the aim of obtaining a fruity wine typical of the variety. This process allows the wine to retain its youthfulness and can be drunk immediately.Intense colour in the glass with cherry red reflections. The nose smells of black berries and white pepper with a beautiful aromatic intensity. Fresh and fiery on the attack, it develops full and voluminous on the palate. The long, fruity finish convinces with fresh and crisp tannins.
Clémence Gamay Les Vielles Vignes AOC

Sourced from 25-year-old Gamay vines rooted deep in gravelly and limestone soils, this wine captures concentration and terroir expression. Harvested at optimum ripeness, the fruit is vinified in stainless steel to preserve aromatics, with careful extraction to balance freshness and structure. The bouquet shows lifted red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry with subtle pepper and floral notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with a silky texture and vibrant acidity underpinning juicy fruit. A touch of spice carries through the finish, supported by fine, integrated tannins. Bright and elegant.

Gamay-Gamaret Blend. Named for the year Geneva defended its independence, this cuvée celebrates heritage with a bold red blend. Gamay contributes bright fruit and freshness, while Gamaret — a Swiss crossing of Gamay and Reichensteiner — adds colour, structure, and spice. Vinification in stainless steel with partial oak maturation enhances both fruit vibrancy and depth. The nose bursts with raspberry, cherry, and blackberry, layered with notes of violet and black pepper. On the palate, the wine is supple yet structured, combining juicy red fruit with fine tannins and a savoury edge. Medium-bodied and versatile, it pairs beautifully with charcuterie, grilled meats, and rustic dishes. A wine of history and character, it reflects both Geneva’s innovation and tradition.

100% Cab Franc. Cabernet Franc has been cultivated in Geneva for over three centuries, and this Clémence bottling exemplifies its finesse. Grapes are harvested at full ripeness and vinified traditionally, with careful maceration to extract colour and aromatics. Partial oak ageing softens tannins and layers complexity. Aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, and raspberry mingle with herbal and peppery notes, plus subtle tobacco and spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine tannins, elegant structure, and a long, savoury finish. Blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot & Cabernet Franc. A bold and modern blend that showcases the international side of Ticino. Fermented at controlled temperatures for 14 days before malolactic in stainless steel, the wine then matures for 12 months in second- and third-use French barriques, with an additional 3 months in bottle before release. Deep ruby in colour, it reveals layered aromas of ripe red and black fruits, exotic spice, roasted coffee, and a touch of cocoa. The palate is rich and structured, with polished tannins, notes of black cherry jam, spice, and a lingering freshness. Awarded Gold at the Mondial du Merlot 2025, this cuvée is superb with mushroom risotto, grilled meats, or hearty polenta dishes.
Bongio DOC Ticino

100% Merlot. Produced from the historic Bongio vineyard in Coldrerio, this single-site Merlot is crafted by the Mezzana Agricultural Institute and distributed by Matasci. Vinification follows traditional methods, with 30% of the wine aged for 12 months in French barriques and the remainder in large oak casks, striking a balance between freshness and complexity. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with vibrant aromas of wild strawberries, morello cherries, and subtle spice. The palate is elegant and harmonious, with supple tannins framing layers of red fruit, gentle oak, and fine acidity. 100% Pinot Noir. Hand-picked grapes are partially destemmed and gently fermented in open vats, before ageing in large neutral oak to emphasise purity. Bright ruby in colour, it opens with red cherry, strawberry, and rose petal aromas. The palate is juicy and lithe, with silky tannins and a fine, mineral-tinged finish. Graceful and fragrant, it captures Zürichsee’s delicate, lake-influenced style of Pinot Noir.

100% Merlot. From young Merlot vines planted in calcareous soils of Mendrisiotto and Monte San Giorgio, this cuvée reflects the freshness and fruit-forward style of Ticino Merlot. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and vinified in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, followed by 12 months ageing in large oak casks to integrate tannins and add subtle depth. In the glass it shows a ruby-red hue, with expressive aromas of cherry, plum, blueberry, and wild strawberry, accented by chocolate and tobacco. The palate is smooth and approachable, balancing juicy fruit, supple tannins, and vibrant acidity.

Mephisto AOC

100% Gamay. Gamay crossed the Alps from Beaujolais in the early 20th century and quickly found a second home in Valais. The wine is traditionally matured in stainless steel tanks. After prolonged maceration, the wine is pressed and alcoholic fermentation is completed in stainless steel tanks under the influence of yeast. Vivid ruby, it bursts with redcurrant, strawberry, and violets, laced with peppery lift. A racy nose with aromas of violets, complemented by intense fruitiness on the palate and a silky tannin structure. The long, soft finish completes the enjoyment of the Mephisto. This Gamay is a balanced red wine, characterised by its tannins, which offers rich and harmonious drinking pleasure from an early stage. Juicy and mineral-driven, it’s an energetic alpine Gamay is best enjoyed lightly chilled.
Bondola del nonu Mario

100% Bondola. The 2023 Bondola del Nonu Mario celebrates Ticino’s rare indigenous Bondola grape, lovingly preserved by the Rossi family. Sourced from old vines on the slopes above Sementina, the grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with minimal intervention to highlight the terroir’s unique character. In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby hue. The nose is intense and inviting, with red fruit aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry, and redcurrant, layered with subtle herbal and spice notes. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with fine-grained tannins and a harmonious structure that balances fruit, acidity, and mineral nuances. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent.
Vindala IGT

Merlot, Carminoir e Marselan blend.This grapes come from the old vineyards on the hill of Monte Carasso. The age of these trees, which are 45 to 50 years old, together with their limited yield of 600 gr/m2, results in an excellent raw material. Alcoholic fermentation and subsequent 30-day maceration. The grapes are left ripening on the vine, then they are harvested and left to dry for two weeks till 15-18% of their initial weight is lost. Maturation in 225-litre French oak barrels for 24 months before bottling. Deep ruby red colour; this wine boasts very complex aromas. You will find notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, violet, rose, nutmeg, fern and citron, with a long and fine aftertaste. Long ageing in oak barrels enriches it with toasty aromas (cloves, liquorice, tobacco and vanilla). Its structure and complexity ensure excellent ageing.Pairs well with rich dishes (goat and lamb, other red and game meat as well as with 24-48 months aged cheeses.Best consumed within 6-9 years of bottling.

Alcoholic fermentation and 30-day maceration. Maturation in new, 225-litre French oak barrels for 24 months before bottling. Dark ruby colour, very complex on the nose with spicy notes (cloves and thyme). Tomato leaf, blackberry and currant aromas can be smelt, too. Long ageing in oak barrels enriches it with balsamic and toasty aromas (essential oils, caramel and coffee). On the palate, it boasts a mouth-filling and tannic, yet very well-balanced and elegant body. Pairs well with rich lamb or beef dishes.Best consumed within 5-7 years of bottling.
Sassi Grossi DOC
Gialdi
100% Merlot. The wine is vinified following the traditional bordelaise method with a maceration period of 12 - 15 days at 28 – 30°C. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is matured for about 15-18 months in barriques of French oak. Frequent racking from the lees allows the wine to be bottled without fining, filtration or other physical stabilisation. This may result in slight sediment in the bottle. Deep and intense ruby red colour. Harmonic and complex, an intense inviting fruity bouquet of plums and blueberries with roasted and spicy nuances, and light hints of menthol. The Sassi Grossi vintages will reach their full expressive potential within 2 years and will continue to develop in character through 2035 and beyond if properly cellared.
Best if uncorked one hour before serving. Complex and fruity taste. It combines elegance and a superb structure with ripe and smooth tannins. Long lasting taste with a good balance on the very persistent finish. Pairs well with roasts, stews, red meet, venison and seasoned cheese.
